Vanakkam!

I have a special project share. This is very close to my heart. I made an album to record my son's first year memories. I made this album using Echo Park Baby Boy collections, DCWV White Ginger and NITWIT Collections Treasured Baby Boy digital collection.
I have made a box to store the album safely.  The box measures 12"x 12"x 5" and used the digital elements to create the frame for the box.

The album measures 11"x 9" in size. It is a 12 pages album including the front and back inside cover. I used the Echo Park collection to decorate the covers and spine. Decorated the spine with beautiful charms and used the sticker sheet to phrase my son's name.

The first page holds the pictures of my son's first few months. I have used the Martha Stewart's Lace Heart punch to decorate the flap.
The second page is for the Nool kettu pictures. It's a tradition followed in South India when the baby is 28 days old.

This is my son's very first picture and also my husband holding him for the very first time. <love>

This is the second page which is a pocket page with flaps in the top and bottom of the page.

The 3rd page is for the Naming ceremony pictures. I have created the wordings which I have used throughout the album using Cameo and cut it out using the print n cut feature.

The 4th page holds the pictures from my son's Choroonu celebrations. It is the ritual done when the baby is 6 months and is ready to take his first solid food.

The 3rd page has flaps in 3sides which opens up for more pictures.

For the 4th page is a massive page, it holds a lot of pictures. When I say a lot, believe me it's a lot. It has multiple flaps and pockets to hold all the pictures from the function.

The 5th page is large pocket page with a top flap. It holds the pictures of all the festivals in the first year of my son. There are a couple of photo mats to hold more pictures.

The 6th page holds pictures of my son with his grandparents.
I used Spellbinders A2 Border creator die to create the designer edge to the flap.

The flaps opens up to reveal more pictures. It is also a pocket page in which more photo mats are stored.

The 7th page is created as a see through pocket with acetate inspired from Paper Phenomenon for added interest. It also has a side pocket for more photo mats.

The 8th page has a set of flaps to create space for more pictures. I have collaged the pictures for added interest. It holds my son's photoshoot pictures.

There is an extended faux envelope page, again inspired from Paper Phenomenon. I have used tiny pictures to create a interesting layout.

The 9th page is large faux envelope page which opens up to reveal the waterfall style photo mats.

The last 2 pages holds more random pictures. The 10th page has a large flap opening from the top and a small flap in the bottom.
And the last page is a pocket page which also has flaps opening to the right and left for pictures in the portrait orientation

Will meet guys with another project soon....
Until next time,
Nandri!

    3. Hi Anitha,
All of us start from the beginning at some point. If you have the drive you'll create magic with papers. I saw the paperstack, they have such lovely colours. You can mix white and a grey cardstocks to make the album base. Im sure it will come out lovely.
For the Echo park stickers,i use the ones that come with the paper collection. I have seen seperate sticker sheets at diecutsandmore.com

And yes, you can use the echo park BOJ baby girl stickers with this papers. Hope to see your completed project soon.
